The Flu Jab is a MUST this year

2020 has been a bit of a crazy year and our staff, residents and their families have seen their daily routine change drastically. Our residents are regulars for the annual winter Flu vaccine, but this year it is more vital than ever due to coronavirus.

No matter how fit and healthy you are, everyone is susceptible to illnesses such as the flu, especially if they suffer with particular medical conditions are over 65 years old or are pregnant. These factors can make flu more serious if you do catch it, which is why the NHS offer the flu vaccine for FREE for those who meet those requirements.

Can I still get a Flu Vaccine if I don’t meet the requirements for the FREE NHS FUNDED FLU VACCINE?

This is a very simple answer, yes. Pharmacies across the UK offer flu vaccinations to those over the age of 18. MASTA also run clinics that provide flu jabs for those between the ages of 6 months and 16 years.
